We at Habbit Co., Ltd (hereinafter “Habbit”) recognize the importance of personal information and view the proper handling of personal information as a social responsibility in our business practices. Habbit, therefore, has adopted the Policy on the Protection of Personal Information as detailed below as part of our duty as an institution which handles such personal information with due diligence, hereby informing all employees of our strive to protect personal information.

Habbit observes all legislation and related ordinances regarding the protect of personal information to ensure that personal information is handled appropriately.

Habbit takes proper security control measures to prevent the loss, falsification, leaking, etc. of personal information.
Furthermore, Habbit adequately supervises its employees and other commissioned parties of interest responsible for the handling of personal information.

3.Regarding the Use of Personal Information

Habbit only utilizes personal information upon prior notification and only within the scope which is explicitly disclosed publicly.

4.Regarding Providing Personal Information to Third Parties

Habbit does not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent, excluding circumstances that demand us to do so in accordance with legal statutes.

5. Regarding the Disclosure, Revision, Suspension of Use, Deletion, Etc. of Personal Information

Habbit properly handles requests to disclose, revise, suspend the use, delete, etc. personal information upon confirming customer verification.

[How Personal Information is Handled]

Regarding the handling of personal information of HabXBit members (hereinafter “customers”), Habbit discloses the following information in accordance with the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” under the Civil Code of Japan.

2. Purposes for Utilizing Personal Information

(1) To provide services and distribute products.
(2) To settle and request payments for products and services.
(3) For customer identity verification.
(4) To respond to customer inquiries.
(5) To provide customer service.
(6) To provide Habbit or third-party product, service, and/or campaign information (via cell phone/-mail address to send notifications or mail catalogues/news letters).
(7) To notify of important matters such as maintenance, etc.
(8) To perform/analyze questionnaires and perform/analyze marketing inquiries.
(9) To display notices/announcements.
(10) To improve products/services.
(11) To prevent fraudulent use of Habbit services.
(12) For assessing customer credit and/or to collect claim(s).from a customer.
(13) To perform administrative tasks regarding customer transactions.
(14) To perform necessary communications with regards to customers.
(15) Any accompanying utilization for the aforementioned purposes listed above.
(16) For any other purpose defined in Habbit’s Terms of Use.

In the event Habbit wishes to obtain and utilize personal information for a purpose not outlined above,
such intent will be made public prior to doing so on our official webpage and other official methods of communication.

3. Providing Personal Information to Third Parties

Habbit shall provide personal information to third parties (domestic and foreign) only upon receiving customer consent (excluding scenarios deemed unnecessary under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable statutes), including when requesting of services upon consenting to agreements stating the distribution of information to third parties.

4. Providing Personal Information to Those Entrusted with Handling Personal Information

Habbit reserves the right to entrust all or portions of personal information to interested third parties entrusted with said information (including foreign third parties) for carrying out the purposes outlined to the extent that is necessary.

5. Inquiring on the Disclosure, Revision, Suspension of Use, Deletion, Etc. of Personal Information

Habbit properly handles requests to disclose, revise, suspend the use, delete, etc. personal information upon confirming customer verification through our prescribed procedures.
